Your main responsibilities will be:

• Test planning, evaluation and documentation
• Dealing with the calibration of engine control unit functionalities as well as the development of the powertrain and vehicle up to the start of series production
• all topics from performance and emissions development to drivability, operating strategy and on-board diagnostics as well as start-of-production support and field-fixes
• Performing tests in the vehicle and on the test bench
• Test trip participation
• Communication and consultation with customers and suppliers

We would like to hear from you in case you:

• want to be a part of a new calibration team in Mladá Boleslav and in daily contact with our customers on site
• have Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology or equivalent
• wish to live the first practical experience in the field of engine development or calibration of control units
• in depth understand of internal combustion engines, powertrain and electrification
• have an experience in dealing with vehicle-specific diagnostic software like DiagRa and measurement and evaluation tools such as INCA is desirable
• have knowledge of the work processes in the area of automotive development is advantageous
• have high degree of team spirit, sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• show enthusiasm and interest in future topics of the automotive industry
• can flexibly work temporarily at other AVL locations
• communicate Czech
• speak and write German or English fluently
• have driving license class B and don´t mind travelling (above 50%)
